honesty is the best policy

Under the watchful eyes of Buster and Salty, I came home with a pizza from the nearby Pizza Nova location. Now, many of you don't know me as the greatest of risk-takers, but today, after an extra long work day, I bit the bullet and decided that a pizza would appease my appetite.

For those of you who aren't familiar with this Canadian pizza chain, Pizza Nova offers unique toppings and many crust options. Although I made have broken one of the rules that Dina set for me before she left, at least I was good about it. I chose a whole wheat crust and lots of veggie toppings. Okay, maybe it's a stretch, but can you blame me when pizza looks this good?

One half had grilled chicken, spanish onions and sun dried tomatoes, while the other was covered with pepperoni, roasted garlic and roasted red peppers.

Now, how about some suggestions on what I should make for dinner when Dina gets back on Thursday? Something quick, simple and hearty would be perfect.

Well at least you got a whole wheat crust and healthier topings so it's not so bad. But PLEASE cook something for yourself tonight!

Pizza looks like it was worth the 'cheat' - sorry to be the one to break this to you, Mon, pepperoni is not a heathly topping (Shawn says it's worse than bacon!). The rest looked delicious! If I think of an idea for tomorrow's dinner, I'll let u know (nothing off the top of my head right now!)

The pepperoni wasn't the best choice but at least he only chose it for half the pizza. Compromise...
